Maple cream is a delicious topping for toast, donuts, cookies, scones, waffles, pancakes and fruit. We do not add any preservatives to our maple cream; therefore, please refrigerate it once it arrives. The shelf life of refrigerated maple cream is 6+ months or pop it in the freezer for longer storage. It is not uncommon for the maple syrup to separate from the maple cream during storage, no problem, just stir it back in. Depending on what containers we have available the maple cream will come in plastic or glass jars. Maple cream is made by heating maple syrup to around 235 degrees F and stirring it until it turns into a creamy spread. Ingredients: Pure VT Maple Syrup.
